About Me
I love collaborating with innovative minds and sparking ideas to formulate solutions down to the very last pixel. This allows me to make a difference in how people experience technology. I'm a highly creative person who can also code. In a team environment, I always give everyone a listening ear so every idea has a chance to prove itself.
I've been making websites since I was 15. And when I turned 18, I started doing graphic design and majored in Multimedia Design Technology as a Bachelor of Arts. My first job after college involved graphic design, print work and the role of webmaster for a staging / event company called Brown United. The opportunity there allowed me to work daily with SEO optimizations to push their company website to the top of search results, and rebuilding their website from the ground up.
From there, I developed NBC.com's first iPhone mobile web. I collaborated with stakeholders to make their vision come alive from wireframes to code. In 2009, I joined TMZ to transition them through two infrastructure migrations to accommodate for multi-platform content delivery and high traffic volumes, and yearly front-end redesigns on TMZ and its sister sites. I also developed using Objective C in Xcode for the TMZ mobile app.
In the past year, I was the Art Director and Webmaster for Katie B Cosmetics. I implemented branding strategies on their website and social media. Feeling a bit stagnant, I took a course in User Experience Design. I knew that it was important to learn about the entire process of design and user interaction. Then on the other end of the spectrum, I took a course in Full-Stack Web Development, completing my circle of knowledge in software/web development.
Outside of coding, I am a classically trained keyboard player from the age of 7, and in the past 10 years, I utilized virtual instruments from Native Instruments and Ableton Live to produce and create live instrumentals for a rotating band. I also worked as a production manager for a bi-monthly night of inspiring artist in West Hollywood, CA. I also love photography, makeup application and photo editing. Besides the creative, I love performance cars and collect selective diecast vehicles.

Samepage App is one mobile solution to the problem of not being connected to the people you love and live with. The app is conceptualized through a series of User Experience stages. The app is defined through interviews and user stories and research. Ideas are then written down into cards and sorted by relativity. Then personas are written to dictate the target audience, what their day is like, their frustrations and their goals. Storyboards are then generated and featuress are then prioritized. Next, wireframes are sketched then generated from lo-fi to hi-fi, and then working prototypes lo-fi to hi-fi. Along this entire process, surveys with the target audience are conducted and their interactions and feedback are recorded. Iterations were made to lower learning curb, remove user frustrations and get them to their goals quickly.
